There's a brand new web site designed to help you locate the ideal continuing education opportunities to further your education in literally hundreds of disciplines. It's called FindCE.com.

Over 900 speakers have already registered, because we have made it so inexpensive to do so, and accept no commissions like speakers bureaus. We have structured it that way so that meeting planners would have such a large selection to choose from, making your educational experience the best it can be.

*There are more than 9,000 meetings listed, and meeting planners are coming by daily to register their own meetings, and to look for speakers

*The list of educational media (cds, tapes, etc.) and online
educational sites is growing

* With up to 7,000 visitors and 60,000 hits each day, this promises to be, and probably already is, the leading resource for continuing education.

An interdisciplinary forum for health practitioners to discuss
topics with those in other fields which are common to multiple disciplines.

Exercise Physiology:ACSM Exercise Specialist

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a review for candidates who plan on taking the American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist certification examination. The format of the workshop provides a nice mix of lecture and hands-on practical stations so that candidates feel comfortable conducting exercise tests and calculating exercise prescriptions for the variety of patients they may see in a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation setting.
There will be practice with metabolic calculations and reading normal and abnormal 12-lead ECGs and rhythms. The final session will include a "practice" written examination.

Workshop begins Thursday at 8:00 through Friday at 5:00 pm.

Fee: $300
